The attraction will open for its 28th season on October 18, 2023, and close its doors on April 28, 2024. With millions of visitors throughout the season, the well-liked center for leisure and entertainment has grown and improved this year.
Memories of Season 27 Global Village
Global Village 2022, an event that comprised 27 pavilions spanning an incredible 78 cultures, had it all, from handcrafted trinkets to delectable foods from around the world.
This year, the center of fun will include various activities packed with pleasure for people of all ages.
Let’s look back at the memories of season 27 as we wait impatiently for the attractions to be announced.
HOUSE OF FEAR
Guests had some thrilling and terrifying moments in a brand-new horror home! The scariest new attraction in Global Village, House of Fear, arrived in time for Halloween. There were nine distinct adventures: a screaming tree, a hospital psychiatric ward, and a haunting graveyard.
Cave Entertainment curated this 660-square-meter area. The innovative idea utilized the most up-to-date animatronic technology to create an immersive experience.
DIGGERS LAB
Another recent addition to Global Village was the hydraulic digger experience, known as Diggers Lab. Here, kids could put on a hard hat and participate in an enjoyable educational exercise. Young builders could operate dumpers, diggers, and other construction machinery at the lab next to the Carnaval entrance.
ROAD OF ASIA
The “Road of Asia” concept, a unique avenue featuring kiosks from 13 Asian nations, was introduced as an exhilarating new addition. Real works of art and crafts from many nations were for sale in this new section of Global Village.
THE BIG BALLOON RIDE
While the “Global Village Huge Balloon” attraction debuted there last season, there have always been some fantastic rides in the Global Village for thrill seekers. The unusual helium balloon ride rose more than 200 feet above the ground, giving passengers an incredible view of the whole event space.
MEET THE WONDERERS
Meet the mascot of the global attraction, The Wonderers. Waleef, Zoya, Ozka, and Aiyah embarked on an expedition that granted them the ability to travel anyplace in the world because they were fascinated by the renowned Legend of the Staff. And guess where they made their travel plans? Yes. They arrived at the charming tourist destination known as Global Village!
Also, Global Village unveiled a fresh collection of goods inspired by these notable visitors.
CABANAS
At GV last season, parties of up to eight friends and family members may rent cabanas. Guests might recline while admiring the view with a private butler, seeing to all of their needs. Visitors could upgrade to the Star Seats experience for fantastic views of the acclaimed and breathtaking daredevil performances.
HAPPINESS GATE
Global Village 2022 Dubai had three entrances: the Gate of the World, the Culture Gate, and the recently constructed Happiness Gate. The distance to parking places was shortened thanks to this new gate, which maintained traffic flow. There was valet parking close to the new gate as well. Yet, the self-parking area was located at the Gate of the World.
THINGS TO DO AT GLOBAL VILLAGE
SHOPPING
Anybody looking to shop “bazaar-style” at its finest should visit the World Village Fair. Several retail brands and companies from around the world set up their pavilions and stores at the festival throughout the previous season.
DINING
At Global Village, many dine-in restaurants and vendors sold street food. Visitors enjoyed flavors from all over the world! Pizza in a cone, steamed dumplings, doner kebabs, improved hot dogs, and more delectable street cuisine were available.
The Railway Market featured pastries and other treats from Asia and other regions, modeled after Thailand’s Umbrella Market.
The Floating Market offered East Asian foods from stalls on boats for a more unusual culinary experience.
SHOWS
Street performances and family-friendly entertainment were available at Global Village Dubai. These include iconic performances by well-known performers from around the globe.
There were also several electrifying street performances, like the Bollywood Flash Mob and the Double Dutch Skippers. The life-threatening acts at Global Village Dubai 2022 also inspired the audience in the 26th season of the major attraction. The fireworks and fountain displays came last but not least.
DUBAI GLOBAL VILLAGE CARNAVAL
The ideal location for families is Global Village. The “Carnaval” area was the most popular kid-friendly activity at Global Village during the previous season. More than 160 rides, arcade games, attractions, and various skill-based games were available to keep children and adults occupied for several hours.

THE WONDERERS’ KIDS FEST
The wonder-filled “The Wonderers’ Kids Fest” at Kids’ Theatre was a hit with kids! Both Peter Rabbit and the PJ Masks were on stage to amuse their young audience members. The event began on February 10 and ran daily from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm through February 28. Classic board games, engaging performances, thrilling skill contests, amazing prizes, and much more were included. All children participating in the event got to ride for free at the Carnival; this is next-level enjoyment!
GLOBAL VILLAGE TIMINGS
The Global Village’s timings are usually the same year-round, and only women, couples, and families are permitted access. Tuesday is a public holiday.
The opening hours of Global Village, season 28, are expected to be:
- Monday – Thursday: 04:00 pm to 12:00 am
- Friday, Sunday: 04:00 pm to 01:00 am
TICKET PRICES
Here is an overview of the ticket prices for season 27:
- Global Village Ticket Price: AED 20 (Value Day ticket) | AED 25 (Any day ticket)
- Free entry for children under three and senior citizens above 65.
- People of Determination with one carer can enter free of charge.
The easiest way to save money on tickets is through the mobile app or online since you get a 10% discount. So, the Value Ticket will only set you back AED 18, and Any Day will only set you back AED 22.50.
In addition to ticket prices, visitors must be aware of the following rules:
Animals and pets are not allowed in the park at Global Village.
Every portion of the park, including the eateries and the amusement park, is smoke-free.
Hoverboards, tricycles, bicycles, rollerblades, and skateboards are prohibited at the Global Village park.
