Step 8: Complete the form by adding details such as your full name, home address, and proof of income. Attach the necessary documents and press Submit. A Total of 7.10 Lakh Homes Planned for Approval by June 2025 Under PMAY 2.0 To provide affordable homes for everyone, the central government is working on expanding the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban 2.0. So far, 7,09,979 homes have been approved under this program, with 2.35 lakh of these getting the green light on June 18, 2025. These homes will be constructed across nine states. These include Bihar, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Odisha, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Authorities plan to implement this initiative using four methods: Affordable Housing in Partnership, Beneficiary Led Construction, Interest Subsidy Scheme, and Affordable Rental Housing. The approved housing units will fall into various categories, each with its specific quota.
